Our high-end single family, multifamily and commercial development and construction company is looking for an experienced Field Superintendent for new developments. The ideal candidate will harbor a passion for design and construction and devote his or her creativity to our projects. The Field Superintendent’s job is to oversee new construction, as well as infill.

The position includes benefits, competitive salary and paid time off. The job includes both hands-on and administrative duties.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily construction activities at a work site. Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Works with contractors to complete project within the given budget and time frame.
  • Resolves contract disputes and arranges any necessary order changes.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Required Experience:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  •  5+ years’ experience in construction of single family, multifamily and mixed-use commercial
  • Must be able to read blue prints, structural drawings and plan sets
  • Have an understanding of project cost analysis
