Currently we are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Director who will lead day-to-day assignments related to sales and marketing initiatives for various communities developed by the company.  Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in multi-family and single-family home building.  This position requires the ability to work in conjunction with the senior executive team, project managers, estimators, and construction management personnel.

The ideal individual has 10+ years of experience working in a Sales/Marketing or Business Development role, with at least 5+ years in the Construction industry working for a general contractor, design/build, specialty contracting firm, or an Architecture firm in the SF Bay Area.

Director of Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:


  • Lead a high performing culture while directing and managing all activities and supporting the performance of outside sales and marketing consultants
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. deposits and special pricing requests)
  • Ensure that the outside sales teams fully understands and complies with company contracts
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints
  • Produce and manage monthly competitive market summaries with t

Marketing and Advertising:

  • Lead the model home opening process and assume responsibility for coordinating the merchandising of all model homes with the designers
  • Develop and maintain all social media outlets
  • Manage and oversee the production of all print materials and publications to ensure alignment with the brand
  • Plan and coordinate all special events in coordination with sales & marketing
  • Manage and oversee the current marketing materials per community – to include color renderings, signage, flags, etc.
  • Manage and oversee community entrances, amenities and open spaces – maintaining the ‘sense of arrival’ in all communities
  • Create, develop and adhere to a company advertising plan
  • Maintain advertising budget

Director of Sales & Marketing Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of real estate marketing and sales experience
  • Experience in branding and print/web advertising
  • Knowledge of multifamily and single-family residential home construction, real estate, and marketing
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external staff
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of social media, website management
  • MS Office and CRM software skills required. A history of demonstrated construction sales success is required.
